Why does Automate require manual installation?
Tracker and Automate are separate editions. Tracker is distributed through the Chrome Web Store; Automate uses a manual installation and an Unlimited plan. An Unlimited subscription in Tracker does not install the Automate edition or add its controls.

Download Automate (ZIP)
Downloading a ZIP does not install it. This manual edition requires desktop Chrome and an Unlimited plan for automation. Chrome Web Store updates apply to Tracker only.
First Automate installation

Download the Extension
Click the download button above to get the ZIP file. Save it somewhere you can find it easily.

Extract the ZIP File
Right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click to extract (Mac). Remember where you extracted it.

Open Chrome Extensions
In Chrome, go to
chrome://extensionsor click the menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions. -

Enable Developer Mode
Toggle the "Developer mode" switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Load the Extension
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder from your Downloads.
Updating an existing Automate installation?
Keep the existing Chrome profile and extension. Export any local records you need, download the current ZIP, then replace the files in the folder already loaded by Chrome. Open chrome://extensions and choose Reload for Automate. Return here, reload this page, and use Check again to read the installed version.
Do not remove the extension or create a second installation as an update step. Tracker updates arrive separately through Chrome.
Important Note
Chrome may show a warning because this self-hosted edition is installed in developer mode rather than through the Chrome Web Store. Before loading it, verify that the download came from Beat the Spin, review the requested permissions, and read the Privacy Policy. Automated claiming interacts with third-party sites, whose current terms and account rules control. You are responsible for confirming eligibility, protecting your accounts, and deciding whether automation is permitted for each account.
